Smiley faces

I downloaded some smiley faces and I want to put them in their proper places
in a letter that I am composing. Like at the end of a sentence. Not just
send attachments. Either in Outlook Express or Microsoft Word. Thanks in
advance.

It seem like this site refers to a preconfigured character map. I have
downloads in my documents with different icons still stuck.
