Smart Search

Can anyone please help with the removal of Smart Search
Spyware. It has taken such a grip on my pc that it will
not let me update Windows XP or download any files.


When attempting to download a file it automatically
defaults the IE Explorer webpage to http://searchpage.cc/
and stops me from downloading

It is extremely vihrilent and non of the spyware removal
tools or Norton Anti Virus will get rid of it. I have
tried the following link but this does not work either
http://www.safer-networking.org/minifiles.html.Whatever
it has downloaded onto my systemappears to also have
corrupted Windows Media Player. I'm desperate to get rid
of this rubbish from my machine without having to do a
full reboot of my system any offers would be greatly
appreciated.

If anyone else has the same problem then useCW Shredder
from here and I guarantee that will do the trick
