Slow starting

My computer as been starting very slowly lately with runtime error at
009022F5 and the log indicates:
"Windows saved user VALLMILL\Owner registry while an application or service
was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's
registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no
longer in use. "This is often caused by services running as a user account,
try configuring the services to run in either the LocalService or
NetworkService account. I am the only one using the computer". How do I
check?

It is fast when I start in Standby, but I still can get the runtime error.
And when I log off, it tells me an applcation is still rnning.

I did what you suggested and there is an improvement. Thanks. I still get
"runtime error at 009022F5",however when I shut down my computer, but no
other error so far. I found out that when I sart it in Stand by, it is much
faster to start since my problem is mainly with my start up files. Vallmill
