Slow logons with Windows 2000 Server and Windows 2000 Clients

Any ideas on why loading personal settings and applying
personal settings takes 3 to 5 minutes when logging on to
a Windows 2000 domain with Windows 2000 Clients?

Usually this indicates a problem with DNS on your network. Either DNS isn't
working, isn't working right, or is not configured correctly.
