Slow loading windows

Posts here keep disappeaing this is yet the 4th on exact same topic since
others keep disappearing need keep posting!!!!!!

Winows Xp home is very very slow lately changes the background 5 time and
dosent load the start menu & icons on destop for about 3 mins after entering
the windows.
mI have done all usal things defrag, scan disk,antispyware, registery
cleaner,ckdisk
and all seem just slow it down even.

You omitted the 1st item to check - Event Logs. I would also take a
look at TaskMgr, Processes (TAB) and see what kind of memory
load is present.

What are your hardware specifications?

Open Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer>Application.Check
there if you find any clue.

Explain more clearly i am a novice i cant understand at all any this.
