Slow IE and not able to Change Homepage

My home page continues to be link to a sight call search
space.com or start space.com. I keep changing my homepage
but it continues to go back to this one. This has alos led
to signifcant wait time in accessing any site and often
it times out. Can you please assist me? I have used
Hijackthis.exe and have deleted anything that looks like
it is realted to it but nothing seems to work.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

spybot search and destroy
and spywareblaster

These three cleared ALL the crap off my IE6 and, they are free. I don't have
the links, but they are on some other threads.
