Slipstreaming XP&SP2

Hello,
Am trying to slipstream XP Pro, and my new copy of Windows
XP SP2 CD- ROM.
Got my copy of XP Pro into a file C:\xp no problem. Trying
to copy SP2 to a file C:\sp2. After about half the file
copys, I get this Error Message "Canot copy XPSP2: Data
error (cyclic redundancy check ). Tried 3 times, same
Error.Any help appreciated.

Hi

Have you tried installing SP2 from the CD onto another partition? If so,
did it upgrade properly? I've just created a slipstreamed SP2 CD from the
xpsp2.exe from an SP2 CD without any problems and used it to install onto an
empty partition.

That error message 'can' mean that the file is corrupt. How are you trying
to create the slipstreamed CD? I used the following method (with Roxio) and
didn't recieve any error messages:
