SLI multi-GPU rendering has been disabled??

hey, yeah I’ve had a bit of a problem, I had a small incident with my
computer where I was unable to access internet because I think it was
infected with a virus, I took it into a work shop and they said they hadn't
seen anything like it (firewall got disabled, unable to access internet
connections, internet options, system status etc). So I asked them to
reformat my computer - I had only had it about 4months so nothing much on it.
But when I got my computer back, every time I turn my computer on, theres a
message that says

"SLI multi-GPU rendering has been disabled
SLI multi-GPU rendering has been changed to independent GPU rendering
because one of your SLI cards has been removed. SLI multi-GPU rendering
requires two or more graphics cards"

So now when I play a game, video or music, every now and then the computer
stops everything and freezes visually and the music repeats the last sound
played for 5seconds.

Is this because of a driver may have been disabled in the reformatting? Any
suggestions would b appreciated.

Thanks

Take it back to the workshop that did the format and reinstall.
