skewed photos

I wanted to put 100+ photos on a CD to take to an elderly relative. Some
photos were color photos, some were 35mm slides and some were 60 year old
black and white photos. I scanned all of them, saved them in jpeg format and
burned them to a CD, then the photos were viewed using Kodak's Picture Easy
software. My problem? all of the color photos and 35mm's were great but
several of the black and white photos were "skewered" to the side, making
them impossible to view. Does anyone know what caused this and what do I do
to solve the problem?

What does "skewered to the side" mean?

Are the images distorted or do you mean
they need to be rotated 90 degrees?

How do the images look if you view them with
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer?

Sorry, John, I did not make myself clear. By "skewered" I meant they were
distorted. They do not need to be rotated. The photos sort of lean to the
right, the black and white features are smushed together in a lightning
streak (zig-zag) way. This distortion happens when the CD is run using
Kodak's Picture Easy, utilizing the slide show effect (for an elderly
relatives convenience). When I open the photos on the CD with Windows
Picture and Fax viewer, they are okay. Maybe this is something I should
take up with Kodak?
Thanks,
Inez

Sounds like the issue is with the Kodak software.
