Size question

Okay, this is probably really easy to figure out, but I can't seem to figure
it out. I was playing a game earlier, stopped playing when it froze, turned
the computer off, and I just turned the computer back on...everything is
bigger. All of the icons on my desktop, every page I open, all the words are
bigger and I don't like it. I don't know how to change it back to the normal
size it was before. I tried going to display, font size, but it was already
on normal. I have no clue what to do and I am hoping someone out there might
have some suggestions? Thanks!

When you play a game the resolution may be changed by the games program. The
program crashed, leaving you with the games screen resolution. You need to
go into advanced properties and adjust the screen resolution back to what it
was normally.
