Everything's giant! Text, graphics, cursor...

I was playing a game (Neverwinter Nights) and when I quit, everything in
Windows turned gigantic. Well, not gigantic, but I'd guess about 150% of
their usual size. So there's not enough room on my monitor for
everything--for example, my start menu doesn't have space to show all the
icons. I can't figure out a way to change things back to normal size. Help
would be appreciated. Thanks!

Do you have a scroll button on your mouse? If Yes, hold down the
Ctrl key with left hand, set mouse pointer center of screen, and roll
the scroll button either towards you or away from you to make the
screen display larger or smaller. Try it.

No, it's a laptop with a touchpad. Eek.
