Size of Windows folder

Hi guys,

Anyone know why my Windows folder is reporting that it is 16.5 GB in size
when I hover over it but when I open it and select all files, properties, it
only says it's 2.5 GB in size ? There are no hidden files. Many thanks.

Well I'm not sure what you mean by there are no hidden files. But I
guarentee that there are hidden files and folders in the windows folder. Now
you may have it checked to show hidden files but do you have it set to show
system files as well? I bet you have a build up of uninstall files for all
the patches and service packs windows has downloaded and installed. You can
go through and delete all the $NTuninstall*$ folders in the windows folder.
They are just there if you have any problems with the patches or service
packs. Good Luck
