Silent installation

Hi

I have win2k installed, and I want to upgrade to winXP Pro from a local
folder where I've copied the files of winXP CD (folder E:\WINXP).

How to make a silent installation that will include S-ATA drivers for my HDs?
Any article or tutorial available?

Thanks

Hi,

It's not that easy if you want to include custom drivers, you would need to
create your own image file. The normal unattended setup (described in KB
article 314456) doesn't allow for third-party driver installation, it's just
about creating an answer file for the normal setup breakpoints.

Then, how easy is it to create a new bootable winXP CD from the files I've
stored locally?
I've just moved to a new house, and I can't scramble all the removal-boxes
for the original CD at this time!
