signs in and out all the time

Why has my windows messenger suddenly started signing in and out numerous
times a day for no apparent reason? I don't have any internet connection
problems.

It's interesting this just started happening. However, this is a known problem with some
networks and the protocol used in Windows Messenger.

If you use Windows Live Messenger instead (http://get.live.com/messenger/config), the
protocol has been enhanced to be far more reliable.
