Signing in to My MSN

I always get a screen to "sign in to My MSN" after double clicking from my
desktop on Internet Explorer. The sign in is my email address and password.
The email address blank is filled in. I started by completing the blanks and
clicking on the choice to "Remeber my email address and password. After
clicking on "sign in", I get a box advising me that non-secure and secure
info may be displayed, do I want to continue? I click on "Accept" and I am
given the sign in box again only this time it has a statement that the email
address or password is incorrect. Please re-type the email address and
password or sign up if you haven't already done so. Need help signing in?
The email address is filled in already so I complete the password blank and
click on "sign in" again. This time I'm brought to my home page. What is
causing me to get this sign in page? I didn't change any settings. The
error box is itself an error. This page is unnecessary and inconvenient.
Does anyone have any ideas of what I need to do to eliminate this page?
