Sierra MasterCook Error

After installing Vista Beta 2 on my computer, I find MasterCook produces and
error and won't run:

Mastercook.exe Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point ??_V@YAXPAX@A could not be located in the dynamic
link library msvcrt.dll

Any thoughts?

Did you do an upgrade install? If so, I'd remove the program and reinstall
to see if that will help...and use the compatibility settings for whatever
version of Windows the program was written for. It is an older program (I
have it too) so there are surely compatibility issues.

My first try, I did not re-install the software after upgrading to Vista.
And received the error.

I then deleted the software and did a re-install and the very last step of
the re-install also gets the error, so the install does not complete. I
tried the run as administrator, and compatability mode of XP, and they both
produce errors.

Of course, when I send a note the the MasterCook software support, they
respond back the software was not designed for vista.
