GetPage Error messages with older database program

I have tried several tweaks to get Arabian Datasource to run. See paragraphs
below the error messages for how I reinstalled it a couple of times.

I have already tried running compatability, run as administrator, installed
wth ALL programs shut down including firewalls, virus programs
disabledArabian Datasource 2001 works fine with XP but just got a new
computer with Vista and I get error messages:

GetPage error
"2147217843 Not a valid account name or password" next
GetPage message after clicking
"Error 91 Variable or With variable block not set" then another message
before shutting down.
MS Visual C ...Runtime error...this app has requested Runtime to shut it
down in an unusual way

After closing down all antivirus and firewall programs, I installed the
software. I then restarted PC BEFORE using program and then adjust privilege
level AND changed security as directed on a MasterCook help site...that
program I have running just fine-here is link to show exactly what directions
I followed.(http://mc6help.tripod.com/mastercook_and_vista.htm)

I installed the software on my old XP machine to rule out damaged
CD-rom...works fine. Tried running it in the DVD drive...

Helpless, helpless, helpless...

What error message do you get if you right-click on the setup.exe of the
program, select properties, then compatibility, and follow the install?

I uninstalled and deleted the folder and one remainining file so had nothing
left from previous installation. I did the R click and compatability on the
setup.exe file. I am still receiving the same messages.

I neglected to mention this is a read only database program. Only thing you
can add is a logo, gif file, that gets printed on pedigrees. But the basic
data is not accessable since it is a pedigree and performance database for
horses. Thank you for your advice....too bad it didn't work.

I have Arab Datasource running fine on my XP machine. They are on the same
network, so from my Vista machine I access the program installed on the XP
machine and got the same messages! I double checked and made sure I was
accessing my other PC. (I used it on the XP and at the XP it is fine...) So
even over a network accessing it on a computer that is runs ok, it still
gives me the same messages. This is NOT a password protected database, and
is a read only database.

thank you,,,hope this may give more clues on how to fix Vista and let me use
my Arabian Datasource.

Don''''''''t let Vista bring you down, it''''''''s only Bill Gates castle
burning, just find someone to solve your Vista problems & you will boot your
