We don't have a clue what you've tried, Thomas. A game port device should
be automatically recognized in Control Panel/Game Controllers/Add/SideWinder
(auto-detect). If it isn't, what game port is it connected to? Have you
updated the drivers for that? If it is with a sound card, you need to
update those drivers, if on the motherboard, you probably need to update the
drivers and/or BIOS.

The Sidewinder Precision 2 should be a USB device. The drivers are built
into Windows XP. You should be able to just plug it in and get basic
functionality. If you also want the function of the Profiler software just
run the install disk that came with the device, ignoring the warning about
potential problems. Unless you have changed the default handling of unsigned
drivers the system should continue to use the in-box drivers as they are
Digitally Signed and the drivers on the CD are not.
