Shutdown/Zone Alarm

B

Bob Wright

When I attempt a shutdown in Win2k I get the following error -
Explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You
will need to restart the program.

Windows explorer loads and operates.

I had problems with Zone Alarm, it trashed itself when it attempted to
update. I have tried to manually remove old and reinstall Zone Alarm. It
won't install, error message is "You do not have access to make the
required system configuration modifications. Please rerun this
installation from an Administrators account.

Forcing a shutdown manually, Windows was able to fix it on the scan at
restart.

Thanks
