Shutdown Problems related Norton Internet Security

I recently upgraded to Norton Internet Security 2006. I have Windows XP Home
Edition. My Computer has started shutting down - turning off when I am
scanning my Computer with Norton Anti-Virus. Now, sometimes, when the
Computer has almost finished booting, my computer will turn off - shut down.
My Computer even turned off while I scanned in Safe Mode. I was able to scan
in Safe Mode once and I found no viruses. PLEASE HELP ME THANK YOU

Scan with sysclean AV from safe mode, D/L it here
http://www.trendmicro.com/download/dcs.asp
then get the latest def file here
http://www.trendmicro.com/download/viruspattern.asp

If it comes up clean then I would suspect a H/Ware problem, you
will need to do some diagnostics if thats the case.
