shutdown problem

I'm in the middle of something important and a popup window informs me the computer is shutting down. "Shutdown initiated by NT Authority/System." It counts down 60 seconds and shuts down. How do I get control of this problem. Thanks. Ish

Sounds like you 'might' have the blaster virus. Update your Virus Def's or
get the Symantec removal Tool(s)

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.re
moval.tool.html

Then get the MS update:
