Shutdown Button

On one of our workstations, the Shutdown button has
disappeared, run is also missing and options in the
control panel are unavailable. The user type is "Power
User" and I believe should therefore have the privilages.
I can logon another user with the same user level (i.e.
Power User) and they do not have the same problems. I
believe it maybe something to do with their roaming
profile.The workstation is an IBM P4 2.8 GHz running
Windows XP. The server is running Windows 2000 Server.

Any help would be appreciated

I recently experienced the same problem. The
administrator can chabge settings to not allow any user to
shut down except administrator. Our IT department did
this accidentally. Start there and good luck.
