Show skips a slide

There is one slide in my Power Point show that is always skipped over when I
play the show. I'm new to the program but I can't find a difference between
that slide and any other slide. Anybody know why?

Always a good idea to mention which version of PowerPoint your using. Make
sure that particular slide has not been tagged as a hidden slide.

The three things that I can think of:

(1) That slide is set to hidden.
(2) That slide has a transition to automatically advance to the next
slide.
(3) The show (under Slide Show > Set Up Show) is set to play certain
slide, excluding that one.

The other thing that springs to mind is - there's something on that slide
that powerpoint does not like.

Interesting thought. I'm not sure I've ever seen PowerPoint skip a slide
it didn't like. I would think it would hang or crash, not skip. But
without more information, we're grasping at straws, and your straw is as
good as any.
