Sharing Printers on Windows 98se with Windows XP

Glen

I have recently installed a Windows XP-pro machine on a
network with Windows 2000 server and many Windows 98SE
machines which have printers connected to the
workstations. I need to share one of the printers on the
Windows 98SE machine with the XP machine, but the XP
machine cannot see the 98SE machine, nor it's printer.
They are All in the same "Workgroup". I tried to put the
printer on the Windows XP machine, but non of the Windows
98SE machines can see the printer. They CAN see the XP
macine in Network Neighborhood, but if you can to access
it, you are told the machine is not a valid device in the
network?

Anybody have any thoughts?????

Down to basics first....

Is the printer on the 98 PC set to be shared and the shared name no more
than 12 characters/numbers with no spaces in it?
