Is there a way to share Task Categories? I'm trying to standardize a task
list so that everyone in my work group can have tasks assigned via our
manager and keep the category 'intact' after it is distributed...

Is there a way a adminsitrator can administer specific categories via outlook?

It all depends on your version of Outlook as the location where categories
are stored have changed between Outlook version and also if categories are
stripped upon sending/receiving or not.

Since Outlook 2007, categories are no longer stored in the registry but
within the mailbox instead.

In general, you can distribute a standard set of categories via Group
Policies.

Rules can always be stripped via a client side message rule.
By default Outlook 2007 strips the categories upon sending as well.
