shared document folder -- acess denided

My shared document directory seems to be write protected.
I can not move a file within the direcotry to a subfolder within the shared
document directory, if I try I get acess denided, file may be write protected
or in use.

I can not either add/move a file to the shared doc directory nor can I
move/copy one out.
I am signed in as admin so I have no clue what is going on.
I am currently using XP for home SP2

Any sugesstions?

Check the NTFS/folder permissions to see if administrators have full control
to all and be sure that the user is not also a member of a group that has
deny permissions to those folders for write and/or modify. The link below
