Setup assistant every time I open antispyware

I have installed Antispyware and it appears to be running
but every time I go to open it I get teh Setup Assistant.
If I go through the assistant then Antispyware opens. If
I cancel the Setup Assistant, Antispyware still opens but
the Autoupdater is inactive. I can configure Autoupdater
but the next time I open Antispyware the same thing
happens again.

I don't have a solution but may you can try this
What OS/SPs are you running?
Uninstall MSAS
Download the MS Installer cleanup
Reboot
and reinstall MSAS
