Hi ,

I need to set the WMI control security on 500 W2K servers and 200 W2K3
servers .

How to do that to W2K3 server using GPO ? And how to do the rest 500
W2Kservers ? Please help . THANKS

please define, make clear what you mean by
"WMI control security"
as I can think of a couple things that might qualify.

If you are meaning the permissions on the WMI namespace
you may need to dig into the WMI SDK unless someone knows
of a group policy extension, as those are not just reg values
you could touch with an adm file via GPO.

I am looking at to change the WMI namespace security to allow a speicific
domain account with permiaion to the root\cimv2 . But since I am not a
developer or programmer, I am looking for an alternate way to do it via GPO
or an efficient way with doing it manually.

Well, I can say that it is not to be found in GPO, unless by
some third-party extension.
Worse (for you) is that no tool to do that remotely, automated,
has come to my attention.
I believe you would need to have someone dig into the WMI
sdk and see if there is a simple way hiding therein.
