setting Windows default

I am unable to open my Windows documents - pop-up screen displaying
"Windows 2000 professional loading. I delete that screen but it will
reappear when I try to open the windows doc. I have searched through my
programmes but cannot find how to check Default. My mail programmes run off
Bigpond ISP, Outlook Express and Incredimail. All has been serene until the
other night my young bloke went to work with his "Onkaparingas" and now I'n
stuck. Can anyone Help?

You could try a System Restore to before the other night.

Click Start >Programs >Accessories >System Tools >System restore.

Disable Norton, if using it, before using SR.
