setting up fax on a line receiving voice and data

i have two phone lines. i want to receive faxes on my
line 2, which also accepts rolled over calls from my line
1 when i am on a line 1 call. is there a way to identify
faxes from voice calls and can i program windows xp fax
to automatically pick up the faxes but not the voice
calls? if i mistakenly pick up a fax call, can i send
tones from the phone to make the fax pick up the call?

Distinctive Ring is not supported by Windows XP. Therefore, Windows XP Fax
will answer every incoming call it receives. The alternative is to install
an external switching device to your phone line.
