setting memory/screen attributes on a shortcut

Have a weird problem. If I map a shortcut to an executable (which in this
case is a dos app) and right click on the shortcut and choose properties, I
do not see the memory/screen/program/font/misc tabs like i do on another
windows 2000 pro pc. I also do not see the check box for Run As also. I
cannot find a difference anywhere except that the workstation i'm having
problems with was and NT 4.0 workstation upgraded to win2000. The windows
2000 pc that works was installed with full Windows 2000. Anyone ever run
into this issue? Thanks.

Try making the shortcut point to a BAT file that starts the EXE instead
of pointing directly at the EXE.

Humm, I don't have an "NT4 upgraded to Win2000" to look at. Sorry. What
about the command.com prompt? What does that let you do?

Same thing, no memory tab.

Hey Bob,
Thanks for the link to the compatibility mode doc. Unfortunatley, it did
not make a difference. I guess it's time to take the hammer out of its case.
Thanks for all your ideas.

FYI,
It appears to be an upgrade issue. I installed Windows 2000 overtop the OS
(replacing the winnt folder that was there) and runs fine. Thanks again for
the help.
