set up outlook address book

MS Office 2002(XP) I have checked the box (under contacts properties) to
"show this folder as an E-mail address book". However nothing comes up under
"Outlook address book". What is the correct steps to import the contact's to
the Outlook address book? Then eliminate the one listed under contacts ( in
show names from) This was the only one that held any names at this time.

If I were looking over your shoulder while you were pointing at your screen,
I could probably understand what you're trying to say. But I'm not and I
can't.
Please remember to post in sufficient clarity and detail that someone not
seeing what you're seeing can understand what you're trying to say.

The easiest way is to make a new profile... and then the contact folder
will be listed under Outlook address book.
