Set Default font for new presentation?

After searching for 1/2 hour through FAQ's and the like, I've still not
found the solution. How can I change the default font for new, blank
presentations? I tried selecting and changing text, and checking the
"Default for new objects" box in the Font dialog, but that only works for
the existing presentation. I also tried this via "Set Autoshape defaults",
but again, only works for the existing presentation. Is there a global
default setting anywhere?
