Set a default font throughout a PPT

Is there a way to have a default font for my presentation? I have had to
change the font on the 100 slides in a particular presentation and it's
driving me NUTS! I have Articulate Presenter loaded as an add-in on my ppt
and ppt is using the Articulate default font. By the way, I am using 2003
version.

There is a probably a simple answer and I hope someone has it for me fast.

If you want to have a default font everytime you start a new presentation,
take a look at: http://pptfaq.com/FAQ00245.htm

If you want to make changes to the font in your presentation, do it in the
slide master. Depending on how you have previously formatted your
presentation, it may or may not work.
To do so, click View > Master > Slide Master.
Select the title and content placeholders.
Change the font of your preference.
Close Master View.
The changes should reflect throughout the slides.

In addition to the techniques Shawn explained (which are really the right
way to set up fonts in your file), you can use Format | Replace Font to
change one font to another for the entire presentation all in one go.

If you need a default font for manual textboxes, make one with dummy text
formatted the way you want, then right-click and choose Set Autoshape
Defaults. After that, you'll want to draw an oval, give it a fill and a
line, and right-click Set Autoshape Defaults again. The text and shape
defaults are specified separately, even though they both use the right-click
Set Autoshape Defaults to actually set them.

Alanna,
Don't know if it will help but you could go to Format - Replace fonts - and
replace the original font by the new one?

Luc - I have been using ppt for a zillion years and never knew that existed
because I didn't click the arrow to expand the selections. Thank you - that
did the trick.

Thanks to the others. Next time I start a new presentation I will use your
advice.
