Service start order vs Ethernet

Looks like I have problems on new fast DELL servers with
network services beating the Ethernet drivers to
initiatization. There is apparently no dependancies or
checks on where the network hardware is started before
services like NETLOGON try to initialize themselves.

I tried poking in few dependencies but this server has
both Exchange 2000 and SQL 2000 installed and I am looking
for an easier solution than every service. Beside some
services like W32TIME aren't setup to check for
dependancies of any kind.

What kind of problems are you seeing? I have new Dell Servers running SQL2k
and Exchange2k with dual NICS and do not have any issues. If you indeed
suspect this is the issue this is a DELL issue not a MS issue. DELL should
provide support for this.
