service start is failure

i have 2-computers with winxp professional and win2000 professional
i used winxp to access to the internet by dial up connection and sharing
this connection to enable win2000 to access to internet
in win2000 when i want to start fax service .the service can not start .
when i check
the reason in the evevnt viewer the discription say that "no fax device were
found"
how can i start the service and cofigure it to used the internet connection
sharing

You can't. The fax service in both of these machines is for stand-alone,
single user duty; it cannot be shared, nor can it use the modem in a
networked machine. If you can't add a modem to the Windows 2000 machine,
you could use an Internet E-Faxing service:
