service pack 2 verify update.inf error

When I try to install Service Pack 2, I get the following
error. Note: Cryptographic service is running on my
computer.

Service Pack 2 Setup Error
Setup could not verify the integrity of the file
Update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic service is
running on this computer

Please let me know if there is a way around this error.
