Service Pack 1a upgrade

I just installed the Service pack 1a upgrade, but when I
check the about screen, it says I am running Version 1.

How can I confirm the upgrade is to 1A ???

Service Pack 1 & 1a differ only in the fact that the MS Java
is not a part of 1a.

To see a more detailed version, click Start, Run (& type )
WinVer.

Although the file name (xpsp1a_en_x86.exe) matches to the
SP1a upgrade. The file size is 131,170,400 Bytes. Does
that sound right?

1a shows up as 1 - the only difference is that the MS Java virtual
machine was removed from it following a court ruling in the suit by Sun
over Java

The help screen during the install also refers to the
upgrade as sp1, and not sp1a.

Also, I am still getting the daily crash/reboots that sp1a
was suppose to remedy. Here are the specs:

SP1 and SP1a is not that different! The only difference is in SP1am MS took
out MS Java.

Also, MS did not change SP1a to state SP1a in the About screen.
