service pack 1

i installed xp service pack 1, and for some reason this fine help service
message board won't work with the service pack installed. I can't read or
type questions from this message board whilst that service pack is instaled.

once i remove it everything works again, so how can i fix this problem?

Don't install Service Pack 1.
Install Service Pack 2 and retry to read or type questions.
