I reformatted and reinstalled Windows XP Home (the cd had service pack 1). I
started the update to service pack 2, but about three quarters of the way
through the final stage (installation) I decided to abort the install.
Clicked "cancel" (It was not shaded out) and there was a notice "cancelling
installation (or similar)" . This stayed the same for about 20 or 30
minutes, and then the install window disappeared and a notice came up
saying the install was successful. In installation history, it says service
pack 2 successfully installed, and sp2 is listed in "add-remove programs"
Is the service pack completely and properly installed, or was only part of
it installed? Should I uninstall sp2 and reinstall it, or not?
