Server question

I just got Windows Vista and am having difficulty with setting up the email.
My ISP told me I have to get my incoming and Outgoing server name from
Microsoft, how do I do that?

Are you sure?
If you are not using hotmail they are lying to you
and should be sacked immediately.

ISP's worth a fee have their own servers.

Who is your ISP?

Your ISP is giving you a bum steer, and should be fired. Only the ISP
decides what to call their own mail servers.
I see you are connecting from Ygnition.net, so we can assume they are your ISP.
According to their website
http://ygnition.com/manual-outlooksetup.shtml
both the incoming and outgoing mail servers are mail.iqmail.net.

Hope this helps.

Are you using MSN mail by any chance. If so the incoming is pop3.live.com and outgoing is the one that your ISP assigns you .
