server error???

At work I run Windows XP pro and Office 2007. I keep getting server errors
while using Outlook to check my Hotmail account. The message I get is pasted
below.
I have my Outlook at home set up the same way as at work, but don't get the
errors there.
Our IT people have gone as far as to remove Office and reinstall. This was
done just twoweeks ago, and now the problem has reoccured.
Any ideas as to what could be going on?

Personally, I'd just wait a day or two and try again. It's not unusual for
the Hotmail servers to have problems.

If using Hotmail in Outlook and you get the following *****> Server request timed
out******* it is a sign that your Anti Virus is interfering.
You need to disable the email scanning option of your AV by uninstalling it and then
re-installing it without the email integration(scanning) option. Just by using the
Disable Scanning option it will not work most of the time. You need to do as the
above
