sending picutes

I am having problems sending pictures in window vista thorugh email. I get
The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be
correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this
problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the
"I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining
the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

The rejected e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'. Subject
'Emailing: etc 053', Account: 'POP3.frontiernet.net', Server:
'SMTP.frontiernet.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '554 5.1.1
<[email protected]>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown. See
http://postmaster.frontiernet.net', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
554, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

any ideas??? I'm new to Vista and had no problems with XP!!

Try this...

Tools > Accounts > your email > Properties > Advanced...
remove the checks from the boxes This server requires a secure connection
or both Outgoing mail (SMTP) and Incoming mail (POP3).

Please confirm if this solution works or not. Cheers.

If we can take the error message at face value, it is saying that
the email address of the intended recipient ([email protected])
does not exist. Are you sure that is the correct email address?
