Sending pictures by e.mail from Windows Phot Gallery.

I understand that it is possible to send a picture by e.mail directly from
Windows photo gallery. When I try this the picture disappears and the
Windows mail fails to open. When I open windows mail first and attach a
picture it results in a huge image within the text box.
Any help will be appreciated.

Make sure Windows Mail has all of its default protocols:
Open the Default Programs applet, which you can access either from
the Start menu or via the Control Panel, then click the first item:
"Set your default programs."
After a few seconds, a list of programs comes up. Click on "Windows
Mail". If it doesn't respond with "This program has all its defaults"
then fix it by clicking on the option indicated by the first green arrow.
