Attaching Pictures from Windows Photo Gallery Folder

Windows Vista Premium. I'm able to select a Photo in Windows Photo Gallery
and click Email which attaches the photo to a blank email. I can then fill
in the Address and words...and send it.

But.....I can't seem to Create the email, then click the "attach paper clip
icon" and open Windows Photo Gallery to select the photo for the attachment.

I'm sure it's obvious I'm not very sharp with this stuff but I'm hoping
someone can
give me a simple method to do this.

All else seems to work OK with Vista and Windows Vista Mail.

Thanx bobg

Windows Photo Gallery does not come into play when attaching via Windows
Mail. After clicking the paper clip you need to navigate to the file you
want.

I finally figured it out. Dumb of me. As you suggested I navigated to
Explore, then Programs, Windows Photo Gallery, and was able to select the
photo file I waanted. Thanks for your response, Bob. Very much
appreciated. bobg

You're very welcome. Thanks for your feedback.

FWIW I don't think you should be saving any kind of documents in a
sub-folder of a program. I'm not sure why, except that it just doesn't
"feel" right. The Pictures folder is more likely the place for it and you
can create sub-folders to help you organize your photos. They will still
open with WPG by default if that's what you want, or you can change the
default to a photo editing program.

I suggest you copy the pics to the new location and make sure everyting is
ok before you delete them from the current location.

Have a nice day. bob ;)
