Sending link or page on ie

Sending page or link by email will not work on ie windows xp sp2, also does
not work on two vista sp1 lap tops. also does not work for friend with xp
sp2 lap top, this is a new problem it previously has worked prior to last
update Tuesday.

Cannot reproduce here in IE7/WinXP SP3. (Speaking of which, why isn't SP3
installed yet on your WinXP box?)

Does uninstalling "last update Tuesday's" updates resolve the behavior?

That's been happening frequently; perhaps it was caused by a Windows
update. Here's what I did when it just happened to me:

Send To Mail Recipient option does nothing
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/sendtomail.htm

After running the mentioned command, open Start Menu, "Set Program
Access and Defaults", and select the preferred default email program.
