sending emails from distribution lists

Outlook is sending my emails to specific addresses but it will not send to a
distribution list. What am I doing wrong?

telling what you are doing and what happens.

I write an email and try to send it to a distribution list. The email moves
to the outbox but will not send. It remains in the outbox even if i continue
to try and click on send from the outbox.

Most likely you have a corrupt entry in the DL. DL's are not robust and
become corrupted easily. Few of us use them for that reason.

I deleted my distribution list and made a new one. The program still won't
allow me to send an email to the new DL. Is there a setting in the program
that stops this from occuring? Is there a way to send to a large group of
people without using a DL?
