Sending Distribution List -- only get CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE

(Outlook 2007) Have followed all the instructions about attaching a DL -- it
works because I can see the DL in my sent folder. But the recipient (using
Outlook 2007 also) receives an email with an attachment. The attachment
contains an email with the CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE from the firm.

How are you sending it? Is the person outside of you organization? If so,
use the option to forward in internet format. The recipient will need to
copy and paste the names/addresses into a DL form.

No information in your post. You followed all what instructions exactly?
There are countless. What you followed is known only to you.
Mail account type, message format are all in play here. We can't know that
either. Hard to provide assistance when you keep us in the dark.
