Sending A Spyware Report

I have been using the microsoft antispyware beta (along with other spyware
detectors) to clean up a load of spyware. I tried to send a spyware report
but got a message
"an error occurred check internet proxy settings"

I'm not sure what to do. Can anyone help.

In case you can't find the message Engel referred to: This message is due
to a bug in the beta1 product. There's no known workaround,
unfortunately--so don't try to find a fix--I haven't, on the few machines I
have that show this symptom. The feedback mechanism in beta2 will be more
robust, I'm sure.

Bill, I like the optimism,12 months later it still does not work for me.

I'm not optimistic for the machines on which this report fails. It does
that on 2 out of about 48 machines I work with--so it isn't universal, fwiw.

This won't get fixed in beta1. Beta2 may have its own bugs, but I don't
believe it will have any left from beta1.
