"Send to recipient" function not working

I can't send any attachments using the "send to recipient" function...I need
to send pics in email size but when I right click and push send to mail
recipient it asks what size (I choose the size) and then I click attach and
it acts like its resizing the picture but then just disappears...it never
gets attached...just goes away! It's the same for any attachment.......any
help would be much appreciated.

Windows Mail has problems finding attachments that are still open in
some other program, such as the program that created them. See if you
have the option to save the resized picture to a file with a new name,
then start a new message under Windows Mail, then click on Insert,
then File Attachment, then find the new file and click on it.

Which antivirus are you running?. Some of them are not compatible
with Windows Mail.

Norton...but right now it's not active...need to subscribe. It's just weird
though. It acts like it wants to attach it then just goes away.

I can drag it into the new message and it works. It's just much easier and
quicker to use the Send to mail recipient function because it resizes and
attaches with one click.

Norton is one of the antivirus products that can cause assorted
problems in Windows Mail. Whether it is active or not does not matter.
In order to determine if it could be the culprit you would need to
uninstall it completely.
